INEC Releases List Of 1 Million Delisted Voters

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC have de-listed more than one million newly registered voters, BLOGARENA can confirm.

The electoral body claimed that they removed the affected voters after verification process and total ‘’clean up’’ of their register.

Official statement from the body, INEC on Monday 12 September proclaimed that the affected persons are voters that registered between June 2021 and January 2022 to get their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC).

The electoral commission said during the said period, 2,523,458 people had registered.

But they were able to discover from their records that 1,126,359 peoples’ registration were ‘’invalid and so delisted’’.

This literally meant that nearly half of the registrations during dat period were invalid.

According to the commission, they detect ‘’double, multiple and ineligible registrants’’.
